So I have posted this on the other forum but for those that are on this forum I went to the FE reunion and ran my fastest time. Just a smidge over my previous but hey its still faster.
11.07 at 120.87 with a nice .0152 light.
1/8 mile time on run before 7.0227 at 97.91.

Well I have posted this in the other forum but in case someone isn’t on another I have an
update. I recently went to pinks all out at Atco New Jersey and made some nice passes.
My best 1/8 mile time was a 7.06 can’t remember the MPH I believe it was 97 miles per hour.
1/4 mile time was 11.11 @ 121.26 and I think I might be able to tackle that last tenth although I won’t be going to a 1/4 mile track this year.

Hey Barry any luck on the primary fuel bowl for the one that’s leaking periodically.
I got it to a spot that it’s not leaking but I need to put another jump in jet and I’m nervous about it leaking again. I am going to pinks all out in a couple of weeks would love to have it by then.

I had always thought that when you adjust a solid cam if it said 25 hot and you did it cold with iron head and block you would adjust them to about 28 or 29 cold. Now I have been doing that for 30 years. Since joining this forum I read and am doing the opposite. I have aluminum heads and my lash is 18 and 20 hot so I am setting them any 12 and 14 cold because that's what you guys have been telling me. I was just reading comp cams voodoo cams and there was a section about adjusting solid cams and it says for initial start up use hot setting as cold for break in and due to thermal expansion the lash will tighten up and need to be readjusted. What gives who's right

Sounds like you got your work cut out for you. I got a new MSD 6al and MSD dizzy to put in but I'm going to wait till after I go to the FE Reunion to put it in. Car runs to good now to play around. Also think I see a little water leaking from water pump to block gasket, ya know my fault when I put it together the gaskets were so thin I knew I should have got a different set.  So my stuff is easy

Well glad to see ya around what are you doing to car . Had to put a new tranny and converter in my car got 4 tenths of a second from it. Apparently the converter wasn't locking up. If your board look in the drag section for my video.

485 c/o 2x4 lowriser twin 600 vac sec survival heads out of the box,  c-6 10inch 3000 stall caltracs with caltrac shocks ET drag radials. 3250/3450 with me in it

Hey guys bought a 8594 MSD distributor  and in the middle of buying MSD 6AL question is I have a pert ronin flamethrower HC coil is it compatible with the MSD box, I looked at the specs and they seem to be the same or better than the MSD coil but IM no expert
