I`m surprised they didn`t sell a few more. Not a bad price considering other high end super cars of the day.
A bit high, but not over the top.
It really must have been hard for Shel to get the 427`s.
I bet your lightweight 427 will cost a tad more Doug. lol
Looking Good.
I still say your going to need 2 carbs for the right jaw drop, tongue out factor. ::)

No it isn't but from the photo, it really looks like it. Weird!
Almost everyone looks like it's got a spot weld in it.

I think it's the margin in the corner of the casting that has not been touched by the dremel bit yet. A little bit of carbon staining and clean aluminum at the bottom

Some interesting pics of the one original  67 Shelby Super Snake

Some of the things which made an appearance on that car were;
Underrider traction bars, and Koni shocks


A remote oil filter and oil cooler;


Decent sized lines and fittings

Deeper oil pan
